Apple Tv+ EXCLUSIVE SHOW
Ma Gorg
In 2022, a new Fraggle Rock series was coming to Apple TV+. I was tasked to fit and fix Ma Gorg’s dress. The original character needed a little freshen up without changing her signature look. we fitted her dress a bit and designed a cummerbund-style belt to subtly revise her silhouette.
Although this was a quick project, it was a joy to work on this classic and beloved character from one of my favorite childhood shows.

Once the belt's fit and shape was decided, the exterior was decorated to look like patches of fabric to match back to MA GORG’S dress.
fun fact: some of the trims were vintage crochet pieces and trims from my personal stash (including the yellow buttons on the front), and one piece of gold accordian fabric was from a doll outfit I had made years earlier. I love when my worlds collide.
